UPDATE FROM ME - YES SEPTEMBER. AND MY RETIREMENT DATE WAS AUGUST. BUT NOT HAPPANED AS YET.

Apologise for not blogging before now. There is so much work to do so have had to ask the landlords for more time to get out of Oyston Mill. It would have been easy to sell all our stock, but, having had to close the retail shop early has made it very difficult. However our 'click and collect' was very successful, but we are still left with the leftovers This amounts to over £200.000 in retail value. I can go on my long vacation when we sell the balance, but where do people obtain so much funding? Banks, not really, credit brokers -some will if you pay their rates. Why bother? The virus is like a black cloud hanging over our heads, but we are not alone.

I did not realise I could still blog, as our website has closed for sales, but , yes, here I am, writing to you all.

Mark and I will still be here until the end of September, as we have a massive amount of work to do. We had an enormous amount of spare parts, in other words, locos requiring attention. . These are now being sold, and some items. pure gold to some retail shops, are bought as soon as listed on Ebay. I will blog before the last day of trading. Hope all of you are keeping safe and happy, I am.
